This is my thought of every day. When things get tough and I cant seem to get a handle on what ever problem is in my face and about to blow I think back way back to the day I was in the hospital in so much pain because I let it get to me.
Hi my name is Bill and I am a workaholic (not any more). I was laying in the emergency room not knowing what was going to happen. All I could think of was how many times I gave up vacation, family, freinds etc for work, had to get it done. Everything turned out fine but I havent done an 80 hour work week in 12 years. try not to do 40 So my thought is "there are no problems only solutions". Haven't missed a vacation, family or friend event since. Blood pressure down happiness way up.

Here is my thought at this time:

"If people were smart, I would be out of a job!"

That is aimed at a certain part of the population! Hopefully noone that will actually read this!
Decided to take down my timer!

"The one resolution, which was in my mind long before it took the form of
a resolution, is the key-note of my life. It is this, always to regard as mere
impertinences of fate the handicaps which were placed upon my life almost
at the beginning. I resolved that they should not crush or dwarf my soul, but
rather be made to blossom, like Aaron's rod, with flowers."

Don't worry about it Rob O, those words following my last post actually made lots of sense, it is so true what you said

Andrea, great advice to search for a new dream! I am hoping to find another exciting way to go! Trying to accept and move forwards..

Thank you also, Arubalisa, for the kind words

    My Thought for today:
"Is shallowness something that you are born with, or taught from life experiences?"

The direst foe of courage is the fear itself, not the object of it,
and the man who can overcome his own terror is a hero and more.

When one picks up a slug to relocate it from the driveway to the garden.............it takes much effort to wash the slime off one's hand/fingers.
(i had to use mr clean magic eraser)
