My TV is on from when I get up in the till bed time. Cold Case is a favorite and I like so far the new show The Good Wife. I've started to watch Two and Half Men.

if you just started to watch 2 1/2 men be forwarned it is very very risquee'.

we went to a baptism at a church here in town (which actually deserves a whole thread of its own) the baptism was in the spring.

during the minister's remarks/sermon/homily, we were very very uncomfortable by his words. it was about tv shows and 2 1/2 men in particular.

it was one of those damnation to hell kind of sermons.
paul and i were convinced it was directed at us.

The Mentalist is a great show. Simon Baker (the star) is fantastic - funny, charismatic and great to look at! I actually got to meet him and hang out with him last April at the series' wrap party - my son is one of the casting directors. Another great new show is Glee - about a high school glee club. It is Ryan Murphy's new project - he is the creator of Nip/Tuck (another series my son cast). Do you see a pattern here? Trying to be objective, however, they are both great shows.

Our family has been watching Glee as well. The jury is still out on that one.

With a show which is partly geared towards teens, dh and I are not thrilled with some of the story lines pertaining to deception and lies. It makes for good dinner table discussion with our 13 yo teen regarding teen pregnancy as well as the deceptions and lies, but I think my point is that the show is modeling it. We'll see how the story line progresses as the season continues.
