we are back to starting point.
we fell off the wagon, became complacent in our meal planning and ate very bad lunches at poolside almost every day.

we signed up yesterday for WW and begin our WOE tomorrow.

what began to sabotage us was that we ate an excessive amount of fruit (watermelon and cantaloupe ) as soon as it came into season (april here in fla) we'd bring huge amounts of it to the pool and that really did us in very badly.

    so we begin again...............

I've done WW 3 times so I KNOW what I need to do - it's just motivation that I have a problem with. Started on New Year's Day eating less and limiting sugar - alot. Started back at the gym last week. We are doing a Biggest Loser type contest at work. 15 of us all put in $20 and whomever loses the most percentage of weight by March 8th gets the money. I don't think that will be me, but it's nice to have 14 other people trying along with me. Probably not going to get to Aruba this year, so that doesn't help with my motivation

    Any beach!!
I got a little lax but managed to maintain a 20 pound loss for months. I retired almost 5 months ago and have lost an additional 10 pounds, probably because I no longer eat to satisfy my stress! Also have had the time to get a lot more walking in. Wouldn't mind losing another 20 or 30 but will be thrilled if I can get down another 10. Looking at some of these recipes again is a motivator.

I restarted at the end of August. After an 8 pound gain over the holidays (), I'm down a total of 22.6 lbs.

I go to meetings - I need the accountability. I'm fortunate to have found a great leader and a great meeting. My meeting and weigh-in is Saturday mornings.
