Just checking in, haven't weighed yet. I was planning to start WW last week but my smart phone conked out on me and I was super busy and never really tracked my points. Now I havew no excuses, got my new phone in so I can track on the go. Since I have done ww before, I know meals that are point friendly and stuck to them. I was following the plan as far as changing my snacks to 0 point fruits or vegies, and eliminating soda and fast food. I started tracking today and I am waiting till next week to weigh. I am the type that sees a loss on the scale and uses it as an excuse to splurge, so if I don't know if I have lost, it keeps me on track. Pools are open now so I am looking forward to some activity points in the water!
Not sure when, but we will be back

Gym everyday here. Loved the convienence of the Surf fitness vented The Rennaissance is more of an effort to get there. Scale says no weight gain but its not my scale. Wafting our for 2 weeks id truely a challenge.

8 day's in Aruba and went to weigh in this past Sat. and was exactly the same as before I left!! No gain, no pain. I guess that walking 2 miles each morning helped.

I was feeling bad for myself since I just have't been into it lately, even though I have managed to maintain my 20 pounds loss. Then I was at the doctors last night to go over blood work results and all my numbers were good. So, it's happily back to counting points.

Dh had a prostate scare a few years back and began dieting. It was amazing not only losing the weight, but how all of his levels fell- cholesterol, blood sugar, etc.

    ArubaLisa and all,

Absolutely right about dropping the lbs and levels coming into the "desirable" range. Been exercising regularly now for about 6 months (could get any bigger for fear of not fitting into the little airplanes I like to fly), cut back on the booze (with a few benders excepted), and riding my bicycle (aka Belly Shaver No. 4) and things are in the green. By the way, for bicycle riders, I picked up this little Garmin 500 GPS unit that tracks your rides and uploads to their website. It's an excellent training device because you can't slack off. It tells you exactly what you did, or DIDN'T do.

Hardest thing for me is resisting the beloved elixir, ice-cold Coca-Cola. But down to those little ones (8 oz.) once or twice a day.

    Bon dia.

PS: All booze restrictions are off in Aruba!

Have maintained the same since Aruba trip, but went today and was down .6lbs! Better than nothing. Still need to do 10 - 15 more! Having foot surgery in July and won't be excercsing for 6-8 weeks it will to tough and will do the best I can at least to maintain during that time.
