5 lbs to go, which is the hardest. I'm down to 18 points a day. first thing i'm doing when I reach my weight goal (which I set at 2 lbs lower than I want), is buy a bag of no salt potato chips and eat the whole bag, lol. then i'll go on the points for one week to get rid of it, lol.....

Maybe she is doing the old Weight Watchers. I know you got less points in that. I think I remember being around 18.

Nice Job CindyO and family. I think it's great that you are doing it as a family. That's what makes it hard for me. When my kids are home from college, there is junk everywhere. I make them take it with them when they leave! Reminds me - I have to stock them up before I leave!!

I googled weight watchers point calculator, basically how many points am I allowed. I put in my height, weight, exercise level, where I wanted to end up. it told me the first 2 weeks was 23 points, then it went down from there.

I eat my whole points. sometimes I go over a little but it gives you 35 cheat points per week though I've never used that. I think that's the difference. if you divide that by 7, it comes out to the old weight watchers. i think this way, you eat less but you still have your cheat points if you need them. instead of having so many to begin with and more than likely going over that, you have less but if you go over, you're at where the old weight watchers was. I'm not sure but I am having no problem. Its getting a little difficult with the 18 points but that's only for one week. since i'm a picky eater anyway, its not a problem because i don't use condiments or sauces or anything as a rule so pretty much everything i eat is plain anyway, lol....
