What are we reading this summer?

I added 5 books to my Ipod/phone yesterday
2 by Nora Roberts.......... Sea Swept and Rising Tides
2 by Janet Evanovich............13 and 14

and the final one, the one i paid for full price from audible.com
A Stolen Life: A Memoir
by Jaycee Dugard.

All of these audiobooks were for my upcoming Aruba Trip.
But, "A STOLEN LIFE" would not wait.
I had the ear buds in yesterday and today.

My review is ..............READ IT.
you may cry, you will smile, you will think twice about missing and exploited children, the judicial system................but in the end, you will rejoice in knowing good defeats evil.

In the audioversion, Jaycee herself is the reader.
She is clear, well spoken and does a heck of a job.

It is a wonderful book.

and, aside from Dan Brown's Professor Robert Langdon series being my all time favorites......another favorite that I really really enjoyed was
The Shack
I am not particularly religious, more or a spiritual person i guess.
But , THE SHACK really was inspirational and wonderful.
A real feel good book.

Heaven is for Real!! what a great book..makes you really question what this 4 year old really did see.
Now I'm reading The Art of Racing In the Rain... a dog is telling the story, so far it's very cute and funny. I'm hoping it doesn't turn sad!

Just read Chelsea Handlers books...as raunchy as she is, she is ten times more hilarious!

Now, a little more subtle book...Maine by J. Courtney Sullivan
Set in Cape Neddick, Maine and Boston-2 places I am very familiar
with. A nice easy read on my Kindle.

Just read the new steve berry book, not as formulaic as the last few but the plot was a little out there. Now going back and reading "On the origin of species" again. It's a bit dry, or a lot dry, but I'm a fan of knowing what controversial books actually say.
