What are your New Year's Resolutions?

I don't usually make resolutions, but this morning we were watching the news and starting talking about them. This year my resolutions are to go to the gym at least 3 days a week....notice I didn't say diet or lose weight because those never seem to stick. I was doing pretty great before our trip, but then vacation and holidays and cold weather hit and I fell off the wagon. But my biggest goal is to avoid other people's drama! This will be difficult with my family, but I"m going to try.

Jon said his are to eat healthier and save money. So I do most of the cooking and manage most of the finances. So he basically made 2 resolutions for himself that I am responsible for taking care of...lol. I was like um, how does that work, think of something else! So we both decided that together our goal is to eat out less which will help with both eating better and saving money.

    What about you???

yup, eating healthier and doing a better job with finances are what paul mentioned.
i am in the same boat as you, so paul's success or failures are dependent on me who shops, cook and pays bills.

i have such a headache that my resolution is no more fireball shots.
(but the good news is that the headache pain makes the arthritis hand pain seem minimal)

We were talking about this last night as well. Our plans are to be as healthy as possible in 2018. We want to eat better meals for dinner and get more fruits and veggies in our sons diet. I too would like to do some more exercise outside of the fall and my occasional Aruba runs....

I’m not great with resolutions but this year I have decided I will TRY to stay in the now. I am a worrier. Tom says I’m not happy unless I have something to worry about so my goal is to not worry until I know I have something to worry about! Also bought a book on meditation. Hopefully, some of their exercises will help. Tom says 95% if what you worry about doesn’t happen and 5% you can’t do anything about anyways. Wish I had more of his attitude!

I feel the same way, I worry and stress way too much to the point I will pay for it soon if I do not stop! This month will be the perfect test as dh has his scans and follow-up appt. I WILL stay positive that all will be well. Thanks Peg, could not have said it better and yes Ray is just like Tom easy going and does not worry about things we cannot control. Other than that eat better and try to eat before I get to the point of starvation when i eat whatever is around that is quick and not so healthy. Think I will go make my salad now, 1:30 and have not eaten (see what I mean) lol....
