Hahahaha, that would be a no. He helps find recipes that are impossible..lol. But he is an amazing dishwasher and he did most of our laundry while I was cooking. Teamwork makes the dream work.lol.

Tracey the food looks yummy. Thank you for putting me back into the holiday spirits..
My husband is the same ... will watch the Chew and other food shows and tell me "you should try that
Got some to go containers and will give dinners to the homeless. There is a group of vet's that don't bother nobody that I look after..
Cleaned out the kids rooms, packed up blankets, new socks, and etc. Drop by this am and told them I will bring them dinner..
We don't like the legs/wings and now they won't go to waste either..

Tracy, your food looked to die for. Makes me hungry. My hubby does not cook either but he will help with any clean up needed.

so today i tried out an orange cranberry relish recipe.
    this was practice for Thursday

    1 bag cranberries
1 large orange (no seeds peeled and quartered)
    3/4 cup splenda
    1/4 cup vodka
    1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
    pulse in a food processor
    refrigerate

sit and eat it all during the NE Pats game on tv.

I'm hosting this year, and making my first bird ever! Just my family (parents, brother, sister-in-law, 3 nieces, nephew, and grandniece), adjusting to a first holiday without my brother who died in July. We're having the bird, stuffing, corn casserole, green bean casserole, creamy mashed red potatoes, red cabbage, tossed salad. Dessert is a carrot cake from my parents' 60th anniversary party in February, and pumpkin cookies which were one of my brother's favorite. Oh! And lots of wine!
