...and more snow over the weekend and next week in the northeast? Well at least according to the weather channel who I only consider reliable when they are broadcasting live from a remote location Do you have someone to take care of your roof while you are gone? Hope so! Just keep thinking of your scenery going from white snow to tan sand.

Any snow totals for Jersey? I can see on the web cams that the highways are wet/clear.

About 12 inches here in Morris County, NJ. Roads are pretty clean up here. Heard horror stories elsewhere. Doing Radisson late July---can't wait.

i am 5' 5" and i have snow easily 2 feet deep.....with the drifts i had to wade through some areas up to my waist......i was tired of shoveling paths to get to my barn for hay for my horses so i saddled one up and rode him thru it to trample it down instead!!! it worked!!

Well, our "cement" is now ice! In fact, last night the police dept asked people to stay off the roads altogether (that's a first!), as they were icy and treacherous! Thankfully no bad accidents.

Actually hit a high of 70 F. here today , but we are at about an 8" deficit on the rain the last two months and it is our "rainy season".
We need the water to fill our reservoir, Lake Lanier, before we are required to send the water on down to Florida and Alabama.

Depending on the temp when the snow falls, it's not uncommon for 10-12" of snow to equal only one inch of rain.

Ice Storm here on Long Island last night, it's bad but I must say it looks pretty on the trees. Ready for Spring
