I just came in from snow blowing my driveway. There has to be over a foot and that drifts are about three feet to four feet. The wind has to be about 25-30 miles an hour. Its just a lovely night to be outside. Can wait till the morning.Governor declared state of emergency.

There were wind gust in NJ and RI that measured 70+MPH. I was hoping for some snow to go play in, we didn't get anything.

We have about 16 inches on Long Island the wind gust measured 50 to 60. A lot of drifting snow - shoveled the driveway now it is time to shovel out to the Hot Tub and get in!!

We only had 2" of snow on Christmas day, but it was the first white Christmas since the 1880's. Since our ground is warm, the sun melted what little snow had stuck to the roads. The temperature though is the issue! 25+ degrees below normal not including the wind chill. Keep warm everyone and keep thinking those warm Aruba thoughts.

24" in Northrn NJ. Spent a few hours digging/blowing out. Winds are ridiculous and they offically called this a "bliizicane" based on barometric pressure and thunder and lightening during the storm. I keep staring at my reservations for Aruba in July and the only thing cold will be the Balashi's and magaritas.

30"-----Brutal! After 5 hours of shoveling me and 3 neighbors sat in the garage and put a dent in a 1/2 barrel of miller light. There is still shoveling to be done...oh well, at least the cars can get out and the dog has a path.

Cool Global Warming = Unusual Weather for Georgia

If these two thing deliver by 1/11/11 we will have had more wintry precipitation in two weeks than we have had living here for 10 years

...CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...
ACCUMULATING SNOW... AND COULD RECEIVE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES...

...CHANCE OF ACCUMULATING SNOW AGAIN SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY...
WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES
GREATER AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA

Amazing...and the Northeast is going to get it again as well

Our favorite place on the island, is the great beach at the Boca Grandi. The water is the best, and its very quiet.

Here in the Boston area, we're supposed to miss most of the snow New York is getting. We have noticed the daylight is lasting a few minutes longer each day. (Summers coming)
