It was supposed to leave at 1:00 but estimated is now at 3:30.


wow that is a long time of a wait at the airport

Now if we know ahead of time that the flight is delayed== do we wait at the resort is it is wise to check in and just wait?

just give yourself 3 hrs to be safe.

It all depends on the cause of the delay. I wouldn't count on your flight being delayed just because they have been in the past. You can always use flightaware.com or similar sites to see if the aircraft has left the US for the inbound flight, or if it experiencing a delay.
