It's a little late for the high season, but daily is always a good thing. I'm surprised that it took this long to go to daily flights.

I have to say, owning stocks, not in airline companies, I believe a company is entitled to make a profit.

HOWEVER, when I see the fare that Delta is charging, mid-week, low season, I have an issue with it.

June weekend fare Air Tran $457.10
June weekend fare Delta $527.80

June midweek fare Delta $797.10

Competition is GOOD

How right you are. Just read that Southwest is coming into Newark for the first time and I'm sure that price competition will really heat up although no Aruba routes yet. Jet Blue is also planning a major expansion in Newark and hopefully they'll have a Caribbean presence. Continental now controls more than 70% of the flights in Newark, so any competition is welcome.

Hello competition in Canada is AIR CANADA. Remember $1600 Toronto/Aruba return!!

We now have another airline but it doesn't seem to be helping bring down the flight prices to many destinations as it hasn't been around very long.

Thankfully, the US Carriers come into Canada so we can get better pricing to Aruba. Good deal means we get excited to get a return flight for $800!!

Get so jealous when I hear about all of your prices to Aruba. We would kill to be able to fly for $500.

Southwest is leasing space in Newark from Continental and Southwest buying Air Tran can only make things even better.
