they really need to get their act together and come up with the clear cut answer to "the international question" with their customer service sept.

i can save like $240.00 bucks total by booking a one way with Air-Tran to aruba, and a one way with US Airways coming back from Aruba.

Do one way flights get higher security checks or something ? lol

Just booked Airtan for the first time from ROC to AUA round trip for late January. I'm a little nervous because I have never flown Airtran and crossing my fingers for an on-time experience. But I couldn't pass up the price - it was at least $150 less than others! $430pp!

I do not think it matters which airline, they all change their flight times. The difficulty is when you are not flying non-stop and have to make a connection as in the case with Air Tran, through Atlanta or Orlando.

Just keep checking your flight itinerary to watch for changes. Check daily if possible, or at least weekly.

With our flight in June, our flight times stayed the same, but the plane configuration changed prior to day of departure. This meant everyone lost their reserved seats and there were many at the airport who were unaware it had happened and unhappy that they were not sitting together as families.

Exclamation

Just a reminder for those looking for airfares this winter...

Air Tran will be flying daily from Atlanta to Aruba.

You will be able to connect in Atlanta from a number of other cities.

You can see the list by clicking on "enlarge map" at http://www.airtran.com/route-map/city_information.aspx
