Airfare prices in late jan/feb
Did anyone book say last year around this time? Do you have any idea on the prices.... I know Xmas and newyears week is outrageous but does it level off after that ? IHOPE

Yes, we have bought flights for Xmas and then again in Feb/March and they are cheaper than Xmas by a few hundred dollars. If you are a little flexible with your dates it is even better. For example, if you can leave and return not on the weekend that is usually a good savings.

I would suggest the minute jetblue opens up their airfare for the spring to book 1st thing that morning. Last year RT prices were about $500 to aruba direct in March from Boston and 4 days later the same RT flight was over $700 and never came back down. don't wait with Jetblue. I learned my lesson the hard way! LOL
