Airfare question

We are the type of people who like to fly non-stop.Besides up and down too many times. We would rather get to Aruba in 4 hours not in 11 hours or whatever.Anyhow how does everyone go about getting the cheapest seats for flights non-stop?Do you need to book ASAP when the airlines will let you?Should I wait?Is it best to wait until 3-4 months before the trip then book the flight?Whats the deal?HELP PLEASE!!I could really use some help about this.Thanks.

It really depends on alot of different factors like which airport you're flying from, what the airline competition is like in that city, and the time of year you plan on going....

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
yes to what amy says and IF you re lucky enough to find and book a nonstop, the airlines may "change" the itinerary.
we have booked nonstops many times, only to get an email from AA or USAirways saying
"there has been a change to your itinerary and here are your new flights" ;-)

sometimes, we are NOT even notified..........and have actually stumbled onto the changes just by checking our airline accounts.

I think the only way you can truly guarantee a NON stop is to fly from a major airline hub.

JFK- Jet Blue
Newark- Continental
Atlanta- Delta
Charlotte- US Air
Miami- American
Fort Lauderdale- Spirit
Orlando- Air Tran

Thanks.I usually fly Continental out of Newark(their hub) or US Airways from Philly(their hub)

I just keep an eye out for some kind of deal.

OK girls, you are hooking me up here.I just signed up.Now let me ask What are my chances that they will find me the lowest fares to Aruba and when.

My trip is booked for next Feb 26 2011-return on Mar 12th 2011

As of right now no one will let you book a flight. So will I get notified as soon as the time frame will allow a reservation to be made? What happens lets say I book the flight in may of 2010 and by oct 2010 the fares drop. Will I get The difference?
