Which airport from Hoboken, NJ?
I am expecting a possible career relocation before my trip in September. The Project is in Manhatten and I am looking at rentals in Hoboken, NJ.
Can anyone from that area suggest which airport is the better one.....cheaper one to use? Thanks!

I think the fare will depend upon, when you go, what day, Newark is closest to Hoboken, and it does have Continental direct to Aruba, but sometimes you have to look at Jet Blue fares out of new York, Kennedy is a hike to get to, but might be worth the fare, like i said you got to do some searching

Continental is closer and cheaper then jet blue right now.
Being at the jersey shore area.I am kinda in the middle from Philly or Newark and have flown either one.To me it doesn't matter where as long as it is cheap.Or maybe reasonable would be better words, because none of it is cheap anymore. |

I am from Northern Bergen County, while Newark is also closer for me, the rates from JFK are worth the extra 25 mins. We are very lucky in this area to have 3 airports all about 30 mins from each other! Check the rates, I am using Jet Blue out of JFK

I always find the hassle of going out to JFK negates the convenience and (sometimes) extra cost of going out of EWR.

Thanks for all the great advice. I will look at the other airports also in case the fare is too good to pass up. At the present time I like the US Air that stops in Charlotte since my best friend has decided to join me and has never been.
I think it might be easier to meet up on the connecting flight and help her thru customs her first time and she will be flying back several days ahead of me alone, so then I can book the non-stop back for myself. But I will for sure check the other airports just in case. I flew Jet Blue a few years ago to Aruba and it was a good experience. Thanks again! |
