    Airport processing time

    Hi everyone,

We are traveling to Aruba on June 10th to visit sites for our May 2013 wedding! Can anyone tell me how long airport processing takes when leaving Aruba? We have an appointment scheduled on the day of departure and want to insure that we have enough time to make our flight.

    Thanks for your help,

    Chassidy

All I am going to say is 3 hours, you need every minute of it. Pickup dropoff, again...with the luggage. We are not kidding, its the worst part of you whole trip ! UGH

yup is the worst part is airport from home city and leaving aruba out of QB airport.

    we leave tomorrow on AA
and we'll chck in 2 hrs prior.

2 hrs is sufficient on early morning flights on weekdays
3 hrs for weekend flights after the 9 am AA departure.

Always been OK with 2 hours, even on weekends.... but I would never cut it closer than that.....

Yi-- i guess it depends on the day and time. We leave on a Saturday and no way would i feel comfortable with only 2 hours.

That line was horrendous when we arrived 3 hours before our 1:30 flight

do not repeat my mistake and forget about second[USA] customs check point which will be closed 1 1/2 hr prior departure. I would say 3 hrs up front is a good advise

when i say 2 hrs i am referring to the early morning flights weekday!

today may 8 we arrived at airport for our 9 am flight (which was delayed 1.5 hrs)

we knew it was delayed (got an email notification last night)

got to airport, took 15 min to check in.
and by the time we arrived at gate 7, 12 more minutes had passed.

so start to finish less than 20 minutes

this is UNHEARD of for afternoon flights and weekend flights

Thanks for the feedback! We will make sure to give ourselves plenty of time at the airport. Sounds like we will have to cut our meeting short that morning. I appreciate all the help!
