If this ever happens, it will be my worst nightmare.
That reminds me of another one...people who play games with the volume up so you have to hear pinging and buzzing noises of the success or failure. Obviously I have to wear headphones because I am easily annoyed.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Hmm, I can not really think of any annoyance during my flights to Aruba. Rather some pleasant experiences.

We were on a flightto California once and were lucky to have row 8 or 9, first row afterthe bulkhead seats. Wife was sitting by window and I had the centerseat. After we leveled off to cruising altitude the women in front ofme proceeds to fully recline her seat (mine wasn't) it's not enoughto have the bulkhead but a full recline!! She could have used hercarry on for a foot rest and made an impromptu lazy boy. So me beingwho I am and after subtle hints did not work I redirected my overheadAC vent and opened up the valve for maximum flow in her direction. After about five minutes she starts saying to her companion thatthere was a cold draft coming from somewhere and she couldn't figureout where for a long time, looking around changing their vents, onand on. She finally realized where it was coming from and turnedaround and asked me to redirect it off her neck, etc. I politelytold her it would get better if she straightened her seat just a tad.She got the hint. This was after the first round of beverage serviceand when they ordered she just sat up in her seat and didn't raisethe seat back and stayed that way for about a half an hour before Idid my deed. Pleasant trip after that.

flying home once in 1st class and child with parent behind me....kid decided to start kicking my seat...put up with it for a few minutes then turned around and politely asked the mother to have the child stop. She got smart with me !!! I was shocked...so I nicely said that if she didn't stop her child I would call the flight attendant and have them come over......she snorted and told the kid to stop, which the kid did immediately....that was the worst part, I should have just said something to the kid first...seems like the mom figured since she was in 1st she was privileged enough that her kid could do what ever.......she even huffed at me when we landed and were getting off the plane......some people are just born rude and nothing changes them....

I'm insane, I know but I love the kids that turn around and chat or wave. The younger the better. They are usually adorable and I feel like if I can keep the kid occupied with a wave or a little peek a boo between the seat backs then it makes for a better flight for both the kid & the parents ETA: and myself!

We usually fly coach but had enough points to upgrade to first class which we did. In front of us was a mother and infant child. The child kept vomitting, crying and soiling her diapers a few times. The aroma was awful. Needless to say it was not an enjoyable trip
