Question Cigarettes

I have a friend inquiring as to the purchase of cartons of cigarettes upon arrival at duty free in Aruba.

Are they available or better to just purchase them duty free at their airport of departure?

Duty Free upon arrival

Just curious, if I'm right they added a duty-free right by/after baggage claim? I was wondering what the prices like compared to in-town in terms of booze. Is it worth the stop there before leaving the airport or are prices the same or cheaper in town?

Well worth the stop.
Prices are considerably less expensive than the prices downtown.

Lisa - my husband and another woman we met on vacation both noticed that the cigarettes bought in Aruba have a different taste that the ones in the US. It was nothing they couldn't deal with as smokers, but it was not exactly what they were used to.
