February 2nd 2016 new times are arrive at AUA 11:00 depart AUA at 17:30.
So I guess that beats getting there at 21:00 like last time on Insel and leaving at 11:30, which means getting to the airport at 08:30.
We booked and here's a hint, we were having problems filling out the forms online as they were all in Spanish, so we called them up to help so we had all the correct information and their prices are better on the phone. Our tickets for two round trip nonstop came to $710 ($750 website price), we get two checked bags and one carry-on per person for free and a meal.
They charged us $35pp (departure tax)on the return at check-in and said it had to be cash, asked for a receipt and she stamped our tickets with Aruba Airlines and wrote $35 in pencil. After we were home and went through our papers we saw on the bottom of the page that they do indeed charge a $35 per person departure tax that must be paid in cash, ahhh the fine print. They gave us a sandwich and soda on the way there and just a soda on the return. Our flights were on time and the luggage allowance of two checked bags per person was nice. It allowed us all our provisions and someone needed nine pairs of shoes. We had a total of three checked. Would we fly them again, sure. Total cost was $780 for the two of us.
