Aruba Airport Information needed
What type of eateries are located in the Airport.
(i am guessing we will not be allowed to take food through the check in areas) +We will have to be at the airport around noon for a 3pm flight.. and will not get home until after 1am-- VERY long day. We have a layover in Atlanta. (anyone know what terminal will land at? |

You can carry food through check in, but anything with meat or vegetables can't go through US customs.
In the duty free area: Sbarro Sushi joint At Gates: sandwich shop by gate 7 (also have ice cream) Nathans hot dogs Kiosk with sandwiches and drinks Sbarro Bar, not sure if they have food though I'm sure I'm missing one or two |

I always stop at a bakery before getting to the airport and pick up some pastry and sandwiches to take on the plane. just put them in my carry on and go. I have never been asked what they were and had anyone look at them. . . . . Never had a problem at either security point. . . .

If addition to the places Chadd mentioned about at the Aruba Airport, the two bars at the airport near the gates also have food - hot dogs, hot panini sandwiches, and various chips.

While there are plenty of great choices within the airport facility, they are a tad on the costly side. I normally take some bagels and declare them and they have not stopped one single bagel yet.
Atlanta same thing. Amy nailed it. all of that said, it is a great opportunity to start a diet. be well charles
