don't they do that already with the happy flow. you put your passport on the machine and look at the camera and your face has to match the passport photo. and they do that with global entry too

I know it does take a picture, but I'm not sure that it matches the face to the passport picture. My husband looks nothing like his passport anymore. And my kids have changed quite a bit too.

Biometrics will be coming to a lot of different places in the future. Fingerprints, iris scans, facial recognition are all biometric processes that are being initiated in the defense world. It's just a matter of time before the technology is everywhere. I'm glad to see that Aruba is working with CBP to further this long needed technology.

no Jacki, she told me the glasses were blocking my face so it wasn't matching the photo on the passport. actually the first time I used the global, I forgot to take my glasses off and my global photo doesn't have glasses and it did the same thing. so now I remember to take my glasses off at the happy flow line and at the global. with the glasses on, it alters the look so it doesn't match. makes sense

This was used for the boarding process at Logan with jetBlue last June. Step up to the line..... look at the camera and green light means go....! Naturally, I'm the skeptic.... but thru in no time.
