I am one of the unfortunate travelers with this problem as well. They changed our 10/19 flight to 10/18. When I questioned them on this they said the flight is no longer available and the only thing they would do was to reimburse me my flight. I cancelled with them and am now in a tissie trying to find flights. When looking last night I see the Continental still lists several flights out on the 19th. My question is why did they not opt for a change on the same day. I'm very disappointed with their service.

So do you suppose they are anticipating another sick-out?

I was in Newark yesterday and the storm was so bad you couldn't see high rise buildings a few feet away. Guessing that may have been one impact on flight.

If the weather is bad- yes.

I will have to agree that it was weather related.

Many storms, flooding, Thunder, lightening-- the whole works
