Just wanted to give you all a small tip, or rather a big one, since it seems that it has never been posted here.
There is a relatively new airfare search engine that is extremely efficient, especially for people flying to and from the US. I just tested it from NY to Aruba and found tickets all the way down to $300 return. It searches some 250 airlines and sites including the discount airlines, which Expedia and others don't, and is completely free to use. I use it all the time for both business and private trips. Thank you for the useful tip. I particularly find the Price Calendar cool.
If someone searches the same flight pair but on different dates, the Price Calendar shows their search results, in case your dates are flexible.
