Continental ?

OK,
Here is the question for anyone who has traveled since May 8, 2008 BUT booked prior to May 8, 2008.
The Continental website states that if you booked prior to May 8 you are still allowed 2 checked bags.
I don't want to have to play games with our luggage at the airport.
Any feed back would be appreciated.
Rose

A couple of years ago when the weight limit went from 70lbs to 50 lbs I had this problem. The check-in agent was going to charge me for the extra weight. But I showed her on my ticket the date I booked and I had printed out the web page from the airline website showing the date of when tickets had to be booked by.

I also booked my tickets for this December trip to Aruba in May the day before the 1 bag per person went into effect. Again, I printed out the checked baggage page from the airline website where it had the date when the fee when into effect. It turns out though that since I am a Gold FF member, the 1 bag limit doesn't apply to me. If you do this, you shouldn't have any problem.

Thanks liz,
I just don't want to get to the airport either way and have to play musical chairs so to speak with the stuff in our luggage. I'll follow your advice.
Thanks,
Rose
