    Continental

Just found a fair price on Continental from Laguardia, nonstop for July 4. It is very early for us, but two tickets for under $1,000 including taxes and one free bag each, was too good to ignore.

    hey walt and wendie

i dunno but that price seems high to me. I am so cheap it is a real fault.
what about jetblue or aa out of jfk or delta out of hartford?
    anything better priced?

i have always found continental to be higher than the others.

Continental usually has better service, it's worth a little more. And no, I don't work for them.

    Hey A!
We are paying $495 each, roundtrip nonstop. Have not paid that little in years. Even trips to Mexico, with dozens of flight options, have cost us much more recently. Hartford options all have connections and are priced at about $800 per ticket and up.
AA from JFK is over $100 more and the times are not as good. Jet Blue will post fares in a month or so and will probably be a little less, but JFK is a tougher airport than LGA. Also, so many folks wait for Jet Blue now, that you can run out of seats quickly.
Who knows what will happen if fuel prices keep dropping, start rising or, if reservations are so low that airlines cancel flights? The price looks fair right now, anyway.

I have heard the same about Continental and they usually are higher, but this year Delta out of Hartford with a connection in Atlanta is more than twice the price we got from Continental nonstop from LGA. American through Miami and USAIR through Charlotte are 1.5 times more expensive.

Well I just booked a flight from Newark, NJ for $298.00 each round trip! Yes of course I had to book a trip that leaves on a Monday and returns the Tuesday after President's day, but it was well worth it! Now tell me $596.00 round trip to Aruba for two is not a great deal!

I am also flying to Aruba out on NY on July 4th. I paid the same price you did for two tickets. It was just under $1000. PM me so we can chat.
