We took that morning flight last June - and we were at our place in Aruba by 2pm. We have also taken that same flight and not arrived at the place until after 5pm.

Hoping for the best on the 30th!

Katherine,

$ 600.00 is great saving , especially being you do the 2 weeks anyway, IMO I would take the later time and save the $$$$$

Thanks everybody for the input - still up in the air about flights. After doing this for 10 years, I have found that consistently the very lowest prices for my flights in Mar/Apr are available starting in early June through July. They then start going up in August and continue up from there. i guess i will wait 2 more weeks and see if the earlier flight comes down in price, if not it does seem worth saving the money to go 3 hours later. Although I have been in that predicament when arriving in Aruba and waiting in lines that start at the top of the stopped escalator. Would never want to do that again. It is bad enough as adults, but when you factor in 3 young children waiting with you it gets 10x worse LOL!! It would be worth $600 to bypass that nightmare.

I like taking the earliest flight out for any trip just in case there are any delays along the way. I fly direct from Philly to Aruba and we are on the beach by 1:30 which ic why I love traveling to Aruba. Can't wait will be there in 63 days....

We are taking the 9am flight this Friday from EWR. I agree that the early flight is worth the small $ difference. Otherwise you spend a whole day traveling and we wanted to hit the beach that day!
