Are digital cameras and/or noise cancelling headphones among the devices which need to be turned off anytime the aircraft is below 10,000 ft.

we were told that the noise cancellation head phones needed to be turned off until after take off. (that way we can hear any announcements--plus all the advertisements that were happening.
We can keep them on until we were ready for take up. Dont know about a camera since we dont use it on the plane |

Yes, they must be turned off. Unless it is a medical device, like a pacemaker or hearing aid, it has to be turned off for flight. Even a standard camera is supposed to be stowed for takeoff and landing to prevent it from becoming a projectile in the event of something like an aborted takeoff.
