    Federal Cuts Slow Travel

It won't just be Aruba....it's happening everywhere thanks to our "lovely" gov't. For those who travel for business like my husaband and I do (and also for pleasure), in a nutshell, it's going to STINK!

Article in our newspaper this morning - read it and weep.......

Friends of mine that work for the National Passport Center in NH were told to expect furloughs up to 23 days. Nothing official yet.

Good to know - thanks! That will help ease some of the "airport pain" for a couple extra months anyway.

sad....traveling, especially when only done for vacations are worrisome enough as it is....most folks barely know what to do when at airports and with customs agents.....
frustrating for those of us that do travel for business and have to put up with both......I feel a migraine coming on....

I stand corrected, the tower closures were pushed back to June. The furloughs started Sunday April 21. There are already delays posted for NYC as well as holding aircraft in flight. If there is bad weather, it will get really ugly.
