Flight Costs $60 less

We booked our flights on Jet Blue in August for a January vacation.
I checked today and the costs for both flights are less today than they were in Aug, the total difference for two round trips is $60 less.
Any suggestions on how to get the refund from Jet Blue?

Regards

Rick

We just had a similar situation with Delta for a difference of $170. Tickets purchased late Friday afternoon and sometime between then and Monday mid-day the price went down. It took dh until Wednesday, but through a few phone calls and polite forceful emails to customer service and above, we were able to obtain a full refund of the difference. Of course they stated this was the exception and not the norm. Like Andrea said, "call them". Be forceful, but polite and persistent. It costs them more to find a new customer than to keep the ones they already have...YOU!

Jet Blue

Jake,

Just call Jet Blue and they will give you credit on your account towards your next trip. It happened to us and they gave us credit that we will apply towards our next trip. They will keep giving you credit every time it goes down. Keep checking it up until you go. I had it reduced three times. Its worth it.

I purchased a flight with USAirways about 6 months ago. Last week the price went down $50 per ticket. When I called US Airways, they said they have a new policy which states they will no longer give vouchers unless the price difference is more than $100, and on top of that there is a $100 fee.
