Last year when we were trying to plan a trip to Aruba (unfortunately it did not work out), but we sat on a direct flight from Boston to Aruba and then one day it was gone. We lost the direct flight and then the cost was so crazy. My advice is not to sit on it, if you see a direct flight, grab it....

sorry about the bad advice... I didn't really pay attention to your quoted price, i was thinking more of the direct flight....I just found that I could not get a direct flight last year because I waited... but I don't have the experience of others of the forum.... sorry for the miscommunication.... This year it seems like the prices are high. I've been checking out Jet Blue for a few months for a trip at the end of June. Prices seem to be high and going higher. $319 from Boston $340 return, direct flight Sun- Sun. Prices before taxes. The other airlines also seem to be high so something is going on.
