    Friday Departure

The past 8 years we've been flying on Saturday. Prior to that Sunday travel so we're well versed in weekend departure experience. This year we're traveling on Friday. How does Friday compare? Flying United to ORD.

friday would be more comparable to sunday than saturday, but still a little less than sunday.

it is now a little easier going thru check in if you can print your boarding passes at your resort!

Does pre-printing a boarding pass save any time? Dont you still have to wait on the line to check your bags?

Depends on your airline. We fly Delta and use the self-service kiosks at the Aruba airport for check-in and boarding passes (we do the same for all of our Delta flights out of MSP, too). From there we go to Delta's "Baggage Drop Only" line - show them the boarding passes, they print the luggage tags for your bags and you're done. The Baggage Drop Only line is always much shorter than the regular check-in line.

    exactly!
remember to pick up your US CUSTOMS declaration form from the agent that takes your luggage at luggage drop.
