i cannot remember if we were flying to aruba or to maine....but i was practically keeling over due to the stench.

i think everyone should pack vicks vapo rub and q tips.
once one is seated, goop some vicks onto the q tip and coat the inside of nostril.

when you land in aruba and breathe in the beautiful aruba air...it might smell like vicks

It's not just Dubai Chuck. Remember that most of the Middle East relies on plant based protein, like beans... lots of beans. Believe me when I say that flights from Kuwait City or Abu Dhabi is no better. I've been on flights where I'd swear somebody was sitting with a load in their dishdasha!

On our flight from Frankfurt to Amsterdam, the people in front of us, had the worst B.O. ever. It was likes days of B.O. on days of B.O. I was grateful it was a short flight. The poor girl(in her 20's) who sat across from the left her seat the moment the plane touched down and started to taxi. Stu who was sitting across from me on the aisle could smell them(I think it was the husband) and he never smells anything. I should have changed seats-there were empty ones, but I had so much stuff and it was about an hour flight. I just went to the bathroom for a longer time than usual.

I inadvertently caused a little issue on a flight back to Montreal from Amsterdam. I had been working in The Hague and gotten to know a particular cheese there. I bought a huge round before returning to Canada. I placed it in the overhead bin, as it was permitted. I didn't realize the air circulation system passed through the overhead compartment. Throughout the flight the strong pungent odor from that cheese had many of the passengers looking at each other in horror. When we reached Montreal I sheepishly removed the offending round. I must say that when we got around to eating it, it tasted dam good!!!

Remember aircraft cabin air is pressurized, and a mostly closed system. when someone fartz in the aircraft, you’re breathing it over, and over again, until it becomes fully absorbed in the lungs
