My bride and our neighbor got their pre-approvals today and they can schedule interview as early as next Tuesday. It's working very well now.

Heres a chart that SkiChris gave us a link to a few posts ago
theres a long thread about this from a week ago that I don't know how to link you to, sorry😁
go into search and type Global Entry dated 6/16
basically a TSA immigration customs preapproval that lets you breeze thru the airport( I don't speak from authority on this though)

Hello everyone! Just got back from Europe trip: It took me exactly 5 min to get through the customs with Global entry card...But, all others - it probably would have taken them 30-45 min to get through....

    Thanks for the updates!

I just got back from Stuttgart/Germany. The security checks there are extensive. There were like five check-points. And a looooong line to just get the boarding pass. When I went through the actual security check, a beep went off, I was intensively padded down by a female officer (not like in the US with an equipment), she was feeling me up on ALL possibly or impossible places!

Back in the US (Atlanta), customs was a breeze (I do not have the Global Entry Card) but there were still very long lines and it took almost two hours to go through the entire process.

But then, there was still a long lay-over and on top of it, a delay due to bad weather.

Luckily, there were everywhere sweet and friendly people. A man, sitting next to me in the waiting area promised me he would not leave me behind in case if I dowsed off. It took almost 24 hours, from start to finish, until I was back home.
