Google Maps and Directions works great

We don't typically drive around but this year we did for a day. I wanted to share our experience using Google maps. I wanted to avoid Internet charges as much as possible so I downloaded the Google map of Aruba to use offline. Turns out this was an excellent option for us, and better yet, it was free. Turn by turn driving directions were available and I was able to help navigate. It was quite funny for us trying to judge distance in meters, but it worked out and we would use it again.

Yes. The level of accuracy Google has for Aruba is amazing - Maps even has a lot of the island's footpaths mapped out.

Not sure how to get the link and you have to have wifi to set it up. From the Google maps app, on the menu there is a selection for offline areas. I picked the custom selection and put the whole island in the box. It downloads to your device and then you have it. Sorry I can't be more help.
