Great Price Out of Atlanta (ATL) Non-Stop

Another poster reminded me:

Airfare from ATL - AUA over the past weekend dropped from $604 (incl. taxes) to $435 (incl. taxes). When the fares originally became available in July they were over $800.

Also if you are looking to purchase first/business class airfare on Delta, always shop for a A,C or D class fare. You would be surprised how less expensive they are than full fare first class. Like half price!

This fare had gone back up to $580 and today is back down to $435 again.

Can someone tell me with the airlines in the US (I am Canadian), do the flights fluctuate in price? If so, will they credit you with the difference? I am flying US Air to Aurba in Feb, should I keep checking to see if my flight goes down in price?

Randi the prices do fluctuate, but if the price does go down, they may not always give you a credit/refund or even voucher good towards future travel. In addition, they may charge a "change fee" because you are essentially changing the fare on your ticket, in almost every instance when the fare lowers, to a "sale fare".

I would keep checking and if the fare does go down contact US Air and politely but firmly tell them that you would like the difference. You can sign up online for any number of airfare sale alerts which will email you automatically when there is a price change.
