Curacao Flight

Last time I went over the airline was AE (Antilles Express). They have a ticket office at the airport. The flight was around 10-15 mins. A word of caution: The flight was scheduled to leave at 8:30am, but once they had everyone on they just left at around 8:10...don't be late.

Has anyone ever done a trip from Aruba to Curacao for a couple of days? Is it possible to fly dirct from Aruba to Curacao? If so is it worth the trip?

We did this about 5 years ago. We had stopped there twice on a cruise ship so we thought it would be nice and went for two nights/three days. Honestly, that was too long! It was nice but Aruba is nicer. The flight was about $200 p.p. and very quick. We went to two amazing restaurants but YOU CAN NOT WALK AROUND THERE AT NIGHT. One restaurant was 3 blocks from our hotel and the owner of the restuarant drove us back to the hotel as she told us we can not walk at night and no taxi would come for such a short distance.
The beaches are not like they are in Aruba. Hotels can not look after the beaches like they do in Aruba. We were glad we did it (sort of) but would not rush back there. We left the morning of our third day as we realized that we had seen enough of the island and were longing to get back to Aruba.
Marriott just opened up in the downtown area and it is supposed to be nice and they have great deals. If you want to go, no more than 2 days is needed. The nicest beach we saw was the Sea Aquarium, which is private so you need to pay.

Good luck.

Its really hard to fly in and out of Curacao too. Its normally always a mess!! Make sure you have tickets in hand before flying in and out of there. Also be sure to not have to make any changes to your ticket, or else you will have a hard time.

Thanks for the info and advice. I think we may forego a trip to curacao and just relax on Eagle beach

If you do change your mind, Curacao or Bonaire are both better spots than Aruba for snorkeling or diving.
