How Many Miles?

How many aadvantage miles do you got on American from Boston or NY to Aruba?

25000 in off season and 35000 in prime. Not sure when cut-off is, but we are here now until Nov. 3 and it was 25000 miles per ticket. When checking Jan. it is 35000.

it is approx 2100 miles from boston.
i do not know the ny mileage.

That's what you pay (actually, you can now get one-way for half that amount).

the one way program began a month or 2 ago and when i read the press release on it, it indicated that it would not last for very long.

i saw a clark howard broadcast and he indicated that the privilege of doing one way using airmiles may last longer than the airlines had originally planned.

Thanls Andrea. We plan on paying one way & using frequent flyer miles for return on next trip. I will book ASAP in case AA stops the program.
