My husband and I booked in October 2007. The price of each ticket was around 424.00 from Charlotte, NC

We paid $575 with taxes from non stop from JFK on Delta over thanksgiving week (sat to sat). I booked in March.

Booked in March '08 for an April '08 trip: $487 inc. taxes (on United - and used ff miles for an upgrade to First Class)
Booked in Jan. '08 for a Sept. '08 trip: $475 inc. taxes (on Delta)

Booked in April for March 09 trip on AA. Round trip Non-Stop out of Boston Thursday-Thursday $350 per person includes all taxes etc.. Just checked and the same flights are now $485 pp.
