Were home from Aruba... We flew jet blue as mentioned above. We were overall happy with the jetting experience, however they did loose our luggage on the way home... took them 2 days to get it to us, and they only gave us a 30 dollar travel voucher for our troubles... the flight home from NYC to BOS wasnt that great either. We took off 40 min late (taxiing on the runway) and the captain, nor any of the other flight crew told us about the delay, we just took off when we did, which i found rude. but it wasnt bad, for the cost, its the good way to go. just note that after you leave domestic water, after flying over florida... you will not get any of the Sat TV channels. it was only available about 40 minutes of our flight both ways from NYC to AUA!

when paul and i travel to aruba during the winter months we are usually wearing our down LL Bean vests. once onboard the plane, those vests provide nice warmth so no blanket is necessary. we bought the microbead travel pillow in the shape of a horseshoe and those are way better than the airline pillows. THEN.......at LaCabana, we throw those down vests into pillowcases and those vests becomoe our down pillows, much like the ones we use at home, for our sleeping needs.
i do though think that jet blue has got a good idea. they (jet blue) are not in the sleeping business. Their main concern is getting the flyer to and from their destination safely. so, i really do understand their position as to not keep passing out those skeevy pillows and blankets. american airlines should do the same. so i give kudos for jet blue to offer an option for travelers that want to use clean pillows and blankets. now back to watching the rain drops and seeing my almost calf high grass. andrea |

Andrea, he knew what skeevy is....
I says its discusting, gives me the heeby jeebies, and you need hand sanitizer to touch them..... I agree with the u shaped head supports, love the down idea for pillows as Ren's leave much to be desired. cindyo
