Jet Blue

I'm waiting also.Last year booked tickets dec. 5th for Oct.
Price was great $417 direct from Boston. The year before
booked Jan.17.I always buy my tickets the first day they
post my travel dates.
The prices this year seem off the wall, hope they go down.
I look every am and pm and I'm getting sick of it.

Good Luck Emac

If you have a Twitter account, you can Follow JetBlue, you will get a tweet when they release. They may also announce on Facebook. I follow select items on Twitter only for things like JetBlue and other travel stuff. I have the system text me with the tweet.

I don't when they will be ready but when they do get ready for a huge increase right now 2 tickets from Boston to Aruba $1,700 Direct last year $800.00 for the same 2 tickets. I decided to go Airtran for $892.00 for 2 tickets but not direct.

People in Boston will probably see the biggest increase on Jet Blue, as they don't have any competition on direct flights anymore. Unless American changed their mind about canceling their direct flight.

We booked our March trip back in September. Got two ticket, direct, on Jet Blue for $1073. Although I was nervous booking back then - afraid the price would drop - I had always had connecting flights for around $800 so it seemed good. It was. I checked the other day and the same flights are now over $1600. Once the flights come out, keep and eye on them and if they seem good or drop, grab them. I think the deals of the passed are gone for now. We usually get 40% off on the Divi too, but this year the lowest it went was 20%. We finally pulled the trigger and book in early February. Paying a bit more this year, but after this winter, I'll take it!! Good Luck!!

As Chadd mentioned, Jet Blue is definitely taking advantage of having the monopoly on the BOS > AUA direct service. Seems like a "good deal" on that flight is now running around $700 with $1,000 not out of the question. As recent as last winter, one could get a roundtrip non stop ticket from Boston for around $350- $500 on a regular basis when US Air and American offered direct service. We need 1 of them to get back in the game. As others have stated, the best deals on JB seem to be right when the fare is released. I'm a True Blue member but unfortunately have not seen the email come out yet about when the new dates will be released yet...

$852 round trip is the cheapest JB direct from Boston in the late July/early August time period. I find that price is unbelievable. Orbitz sent me a notification as soon as flights JB 773 and JB 774 where released and I bought one round trip tick for these flights at $557 intro price. They would not allow you to purchase a 2nd tick at that price. Great thing about Orbitz is the Price Assurance policy....that's why I buy from them: if you buy these ticks at $852 and someone buys them at $700, you get a refund for the difference. It's happened to me on an Aruba ticket and I have got a check from them. I'll wait it out for a couple of months. Price will go down. Not many have bought yet. Snowing in MA right now so Aruba sounds good indeed!
