We are also waiting for Jet Blue and Southwest to open up for November. Never flown Jet Blue, but we hear so many good things.

was able to get tickets for last week of april this year from Pittsburgh round trip for 390....unbelievable price , have never gotten prices that cheap before. Even flying from BWI on Spirit !!!
Lets hope I get lucky again in November, those average around 490-520.

Went down from Boston Jan 1 on Jet blue.We always book on the first day to get the seat we want(extra legroom).WE booked this year the seats.$311 plus $80 extra legroom for $391 down and $391 back on the 27th.Notice on Jan 1 the mint seat was $545,No luggage rack on the funeral car.So we did the up grade for the lay down seats and meals booze etc.Thought the was a one time deal.On the 28 Friday it was extra legroom .But noticed that the sat flight to boston was Mint $325.So we stayed with some friends at Costa Linda and Jet Blue gave up credit. The trouble with waiting is if you want a certain aisle seatGreat time now 11 months before packing
From Marblehead ma.Every Jan stay at Costa Linda. For last 20 years.

It is such a pain. Why can't they just come up with a decent rate and stick with it. I check the website numerous times every day!! We are going in October and it is crazy expensive right now...patience, patience.....
Hopefully we'll be back in Spring 2018

    Which is more painful?
Booking later and living with the anxiety that prices may go up and you may not find a preferred filght?
Or, booking early on and watching the fares drop and regret you didnt wait?

For us, since we always buy Jetblue vacations package from Boston, it has always paid off buying early by many hundred dollars, usually 6 months in advance.

Yeah, I probably should have booked it the day the flights were released, but I thought I could get it cheaper....maybe not...we haven't gone to Aruba for 5 years so maybe I was being too optimistic. That's exactly why I waited though - I would have been kicking myself if they dropped. Jet Blue use to give you a credit if you found cheaper prices after you booked, but no more I guess. That's too bad, I got some good credits over the years.
Hopefully we'll be back in Spring 2018
