Another reason for me to NOT fly Jet Blue. I can't picture myself sitting next to Marmaduke, Snoopy or Garfield on the five-hour flight to Aruba.

The combined weight of the pet and carrier may not exceed 20 pounds.
My boys only miss that limit by 50lbs, each.

We had two folks with service dogs during our seating at dinner on our recent cruise.

Many more people with special needs are using service dogs nowadays. These were small dogs, not typical German Shephards or Labradors. The small service dogs were distinguished by their red jackets.

Certainly, a service dog is more than a pet!

Well trained and well mannered, I would expect....perhaps more so than many human customers.

Nothing better than sitting next to a pet to get the old allergies to start up.

Yeah, I always wondered how they could justify it to people with allergies in that when there is a person on board a plane who is allergic to peanuts the airline will not serve peanuts to anyone.

Airlines don't want to have any ADA compliance issues.

    Hi people,
    Not to start another thread,
Nice to see JetBlue shipping Pets as cargo world wide. But they don't have flights from Philadelphia, right?
I want to buy a Dog from a kennel Located in South Eastern Pennsylvania -1 hour west of Philadelphia.
I have searched and did found that Us Air,AA,Delta and United have flights from PHily, only US Air to have a direct flight.
They did contacted Continental, but they where told that they don't have planes that fly cargo to Aruba
So did anyone had their pets shipped over with one of these airlines, especially from Phily to Aruba?

Thank you so much for your help,

Be careful if that kennel is in Lancaster county PA, it's one of the worst areas for "puppy mills" in the world. If you have problems, let me know when you're getting the pup. I live about two hours from Philly and I might be able to help you out.
