That's unbelievable! Have you been watching the price over time? Was it higher or lower?

I actually paid $1312 one week ago for mid November. I check at least twice daily and each time the price drops, you can call call Jetblue and they will credit your "travel Bank", which is good for up to one year. I'm hoping to get at least $400 in credits before flight in Mid November. It's a tiresome process, but worth it come your next trip with Jetblue!

$800 to $900 out of Boston direct non-stop is reasonable, although with the increasing "gas prices", I'm sure how I will fare, no pun intended.

Airfares are such a game. While I have paid as much as $900 per person for direct from Boston, this trip I paid $1101 for two direct from Boston. We're heading to Aruba next week so I guess I got a pretty good deal. Oh, and we're flying Jet Blue.

The kids left yesterday on Jetblue and they paid around $900 after credits, not too bad.

are flights from boston that expensive??? I mean as a rule.

I was wondering if it would be worth it to fly out of Newark, drive down to Newark. First class out of newark for aruba is $1036 and the regular flights are around $475, but they dropped as low as $418 last week.

Yes, Boston flights are high as there is no competition. However, if you are patient and keep watching the prices you can generally get a decent fare.

    I paid $404.00 for mid wk. travel in Oct.Friends paid $456.00 for Sat.to Sat,travel.
JB plays games with prices. They want you to have JB credits so you have to fly them
again.Start looking about 6wks. before flight,it should go down.
