Now, I'll be watching for return flights.

What if I bought a R/T ticket and the price didn't come down??

I've been doing this for 15 years and the price ALWAYS drops. Buying one way at a time minimizes the chasing of credits.

I've been checking that each time. So far, there is no benefit to changing by a day or two.

Until I can get Powerball to cooperate, staying forever is not an option.

AndyM...you are going to wait it out and check daily I would imagine?

Right now JB has the only non-stop. Yes, I check at least once a day.

About 14 days before the trip you can find the BOS-AUA one ways on jetblue for under 200 each. We do this every time we go and haven't paid over 800 for the two of us for the last 5 or trips

We had to book 2 different airlines due to our trip falling within spring break week in 2015. We have an outbound direct JetBlue flight from JFK which we got for $285 and then the return flight has been $867 without any price fluctuations so we booked the return flight with Delta for $493. Still insane but that always happens to us when spring break week is involved with our 2 weeks.
