Layover time
Hey all,
Booking a flight in the next few days and have found a flight from pittsburgh to charlotte and charlotte to aua. However, there is only a 45 minute layover inbetween and I'm wondering if this is too little time. The flight is at 715, so it shouldnt be delayed, but you never know. ANyone have any input? Andrea |

As long as it is a "mainline" flight you will be fine, even an express flight on an E170 will still park at the B, C or D terminal. If you aren't sure, just check the aircraft type or send me the day and flight numbers and I will check for you.
The only thing you need to worry about is if you're trying to get from the E terminal to B or C in 45 minutes. That can be |

The aircraft is A321? I am not sure what this means, so maybe you can tell me! Haha.
Flight info is: Flight 1997 from PIT to CLT which departs at 7:15 and gets in at 8:43. Then Flight 1173 from CLT to AUA departing at 9:30. That aircraft is prob a 757. Thanks! |

That's an airbus A321, a slightly longer version of the A320 and A319 that makes up a large part of the US Airways fleet.
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/US_...irbus_A321.php 1997 arrives at C12 On Monday 1173 leaves from D13 on Monday It's a ten minute walk without hurrying at all, hopefully this link works. http://www.charmeck.org/NR/rdonlyres...ECTORY2008.pdf Obviously this is no guarantee on the gates for your flight, but you shouldn't have any problems. |
