Lisa, you can find anything on the internet. I put in the exact words and never get what I asked for from google or bing. you not only find the info, you find the exact info, lol. please don't ever leave the forums, lol...... as far as the lines at airport in mid-October when we come home, i'm going to wait till we get near the middle of September and see how its going. I have no problem leaving 3 hours earlier just to be safe. my hubby on the other hand wants to get there 6 seconds before the flight leaves, lol.

My husband and I traveled to Aruba on Thursday May 2nd. Logan was a breeze and once we landed in Aruba ( around 11:40am which was almost an hour earlier than scheduled (THANK YOU JET BLUE AND THE SHORT CUT YOU GUYS NO ABOUT, LOL), no lines at all.
We left on a Tuesday to come home, got to the airport around 10:30am and literally did everything we had to do in less than 30 minutes. If you have the luxury of flying on Tuesday-Thursday, the lines are almost non-existent. If you travel on the weekends, expect to be waiting!

We left out of Logan on Tuesday, May 7th and it was perfect. Literally checked in and through security in under 20 minutes. Our trip back, wasn't bad, except getting through US Customs. Our check in and first security, took no more than 15 minutes. US Customs was 40 minutes, not terrible but we have certainly been through a lot quicker. Agents were coming and going. One minute there were 4 stations open; then just 1 station open. Lots of complaining going on. Lucky thing we got there 3 hours before because once we got through Customs we had just 15 minutes until boarding so no time for a sandwich.

We will be keeping a 2 hour buffer at Logan just in case, maybe 3 in Aruba on the way back.

I haven't heard anything about the lines at the airport in Aruba for a while on departure. Have they gotten better? Are they still the way they were for a while with the 3 hour wait in the security lines?

We had quick in/out Logan and AUA Tue June 25 and back again July 2..... No problem at all.... mid-week is the best for little lines. Ended up with a 2+ hour wait at the gate outta Logan and again leaving Aruba.

Back from 12 days in paradise. We arrived and had no waits. We arrived three hours prior for depart and we also went thru with no waits my thought is that I would rather arrive early and avoid lines. And spend time at one happy bar than arrive later and spend my last hours in Aruba in line
