My husband wants to book a room for the two us this w/e at the Wyndham Garden so we can go and safely drink Sangria in the Ironbound section of Newark. LOL. We have to bring our son to the airport Sat. anyway so he can go back to school. He's a crazy man but that's why I love him!!!

None of them are in GREAT areas, but its convienent and can also park for up to 14 days for only 99.00! Good Luck!

looking into this-- can you tell me if you were able to park your car herre for the week or did you have to take the car and park it elsewhere??? How did you find the shuttle to / from the airport?

I read one review that said the shuttle does not run early and they had to take a taxi which cost 53.00 (???)

I just returned last night from there and the shuttle runs all the time. Every 30 minutes until 6am then every 20 minutes after that. I don't know when it starts running every thirty minutes again though. We came in last night at 7:30 and the shuttle was running every 20 minutes.
The parking is for 14 days. Hope this helps

    Interesting find today.

It takes an hour to get to Newark by Amtrak.
It takes an hour to get to BWI (baltimore)

I can fly Airtran out of Baltimore for a total of 882.00

ooooo. I think I may get to Aruba this year. woo hoo

we have flown AIRTRAN r/t 2x in 2010 for our aruba trips.
both times air fare for each of us has been in the mid $300s including tax.
all times we did the business class upgrade........once it was offered at a ridiculously low figure (i think $29) and the last trip we got it for $49 each on the way to aruba and when we inquired about it for the flight home, the ticket man said "merry christmas" and seated us there gratis. it is nice to stretch out.

airtran has no movies, tvs in the seats or anything special.
    the planes seem newer
    the flight attendant staff good
and truly is our only good option from here nonstop.

our next aruba trip in august we are using the last of our miles and flying american. tampa to miami to aruba.

we prefer airtran non stops out of orlando

    so, consider airtran.
would the flight from bwi have a connection in orlando or atlanta?

I got a rather bizarre type of question:

I see flights from BWI stop over in Phila round trip.

Now--- on my way home can i just not make that connecting flight?
(especially if we pack everything in carry ons???
