marriott points for AA miles?
Anyone out there have expereince converting Marriott credit card points to mileage with American Airlines? Don't know if I can do it, don't know if its worth it, just don't know much about any of it?
Feedback please..

Hi, I converted Marriott points to AA miles back in March. It worked great, I made the request on Marriott.com and the miles were in my AA account within a couple of days.

Yes, it paid for our airfare!.
That was the main reason we chose Aruba. We got 2 roundtrips for a total of 70K miles. We looked at Hawaii and other Caribbean destinations, but all of the frequent flier trips would have cost outrageous amounts.
