the last nonstop from dtw was a charter on ryanair and they told us they no longer do it except for package plans. that may change if they don't fill the seats, but who knows. friends of ours just booked spirit for feb 1-15. think they have a short layover in ft. lauderdale and it cost about $1200 for two people

I have not seen anything direct but I am now looking at Miami connections via AA.
